An American company, UppaBaby, have exceeded the UK’s weight testing of 15kg to an impressive 20kg (approx 3 stones in weight) - The average four year-old weighs 2stone 7lbs so you have peace of mind that your child won’t outgrow the Vista pushchair.

In addition, the innovative feature of the pop-out SPF 50+ canopy extension with 30% more sun coverage, on the Vista carrycot and the ‘Vista’ seat unit, means that your child will always be protected from the sun. The carrycot pop-up canopy extension is also ventilated – an industry first!

The UppaBaby Vista carrycot is now suitable for overnight sleeping and includes a ventilated safety mattress – meaning when travelling you don’t have to take an additional Moses basket or Travel Cot. The Vista chassis has a floating arch ensuring “no kick” rear axle giving you optimum comfort when pushing your child. The ‘UppaBaby Vista’ chassis also boasts an easy one-step fold (with or without the seat on) and a push-on, push-off brake system – meaning it is “flip-flop friendly”.

The UppaBaby Vista also boasts a one-button telescopic handle-height adjustment and has added rubber bumpers to protect the stroller handlebar in standing position.

The Vista seat-unit has four different positions, so you can transport your baby comfortably and securely. The bumper bar cover on the seat unit is not only ‘hinged’ to make getting your child in and out of the stroller a breeze, but is also fully removable to aid washing the pushchair; the fabrics on both the UppaBaby Vista carrycot and seat unit are also machine-washable at a low temperature!

The Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix, the Maxi-Cosi Pebble and Mamas & Papas Primo Viaggio are compatible (with adaptors) with your Vista. When using the Vista as travel system, parents are reminded that there is a recommended time limit of a maximum of two hours for how long your baby can be in a child-car-seat at any one time for health reasons.

Our View

The "Uppababy Vista" is overall a great all round product that offers a lot of product for your money. The variety of colours means that there is something for everyone be it bright or traditional. We really like the practical, huge shopping tray and the built-in sun visor and only wish more companies would take on board the need for these great features. The stroller feels solid and reliable to push with its chunky wheels and with great suspension ensures baby has a really comfortable ride. The adjustable handle makes it suitable for all heights and the fact that the carrycot can be used for overnight sleeping eliminates the need for a separate moses basket! In our view a great buy.
