Navigator is a Group 2/3 car seat, which will grow with your child and offer total comfort with its adjustable head restraint and recline feature. Navigator is a Group 2/3 car seat that is suitable for children from 15kg to 36kg; approximately 4 to 11 years. Navigator is built to last, and built to grow as your little one does; the multi-position head support will easily and smoothly glide up and down, to provide your child with the best head protection and support. Your child will feel very snug and safe in the Navigator, as it is deeply padded and boasts sculpted side wings – all offering your child fantastic side impact protection. For further comfort and support, Silver Cross Navigator has adjustable armrests too. For those long journeys and moments of sleepiness, Silver Cross Navigator has a great recline feature, which is multi-positional, and provide your little one with the comfiest position for the ultimate in-car snooze. To enhance comfort further, Navigator has an adjustable seat base, so the seat’s leg support will adjust fully to cater for the older child. The Navigator is very easy to install, and for extra grip and security once fitted, Navigator comes with rubber base stabilisers, so it will sit firm and secure. Our View… of the Silver Cross Navigator is that it has been designed very well to grow and adapt as your child does. We love the adjustable headrest and leg rest feature, which means that a child of every suitable age can travel in comfort. Also, we think that it’s great the Navigator can easily recline, as even older toddlers and children like their snooze times. There are a couple of improvements that could be made however. Sadly, Navigator does not give you the option to use the seat with ISOFIX; it can only be fitted using the standard, adult 3-point belt. Also, Navigator only reclines by the height and leg, when the competitor seat Jane Indy Team Plus can actually be adjusted at the sides as well as the head – and we believe that a seat that can be adjusted at the sides is invaluable, as it ensures that the seat snugly fits your child at all times.
