‘Windoo’ is made by Bebe Confort, which is a French company - but it has been taken over by the company Dorel, which originates from Canada. Bebeconfort as a company has proven to be an incredibly popular pushchair across Europe as a whole. 

‘Windoo’, like many Bebe Confort products aims to ensure the safest and most comfortable journey for your little one. Windoo is an incredibly versatile carrycot, which can be used for overnight sleeping, in the car as a car restraint and on the Bebe Confort ‘Loola’ and ‘Loola Up’ pushchair converting it to a pram.

Windoo is invariably sold by retailers as part of a ‘Loola travel system’ package often incorporating a Bebe Confort “Creatisfix” infant carrier.

Walking around and on the go… the Windoo can be easily attached to the Loola or Loola Up chassis using the unique ‘Modulo Clip’â fitting system, to create a pram. Windoo is a stylish carrycot, which has an exclusive ‘air-circulation’ system which means that the air baby breathes is renewed and refreshed continuously. This means your little one can be kept comfortable and snug at all times – and during hotter months, there is an integrated mesh window for optimal ventilation.

In the Car… the Windoo can be attached to restrain baby from birth until 10kg to allow unlimited time use in the car no matter what age your baby is. There are huge health benefits for baby to be transported in the car flat as it has been proven that some new-borns suffer breathing issues when travelling in some infant carriers.   Additionally, there are reports that the breathing issues when very young (causing a condition known as ‘Oxygen Desaturation’) may affect children’s ability to learn in later life.

For premature and low birth weight babies the Loola/Creatisfix/Windoo travel system combination is an excellent choice, as these babies tend to suffer with Oxygen Desaturation more than most, and therefore are more in need of a system that allows baby to remain flat for the longest period possible – Windoo is the answer to this health worry.

At home… the Windoo can be used to sleep baby overnight, perfect for staying over at friend or relative’s houses whilst baby is very young. The Windoo is extremely comfortable as it is equipped with a ‘bedding base’ and a hypoallergenic mattress, which reduces the risk of allergies. Conveniently, when carrying the Windoo carrycot, ergonomic handles are located internally on the sides of the carrycot, which can by pulled out and folded away quickly when not in use. Also, covers on the Windoo are removable and washable.

Our View:

The Windoo carrycot is fantastic in all areas of use – in the home, on the go or in the car. Its dynamism and ability to move from each sphere of your life, means that the whole time, your baby remains undisturbed. For the first few months approximately, you are able to use your Windoo carrycot and chassis – as a travel system the Loola/Creatisfix/Windoo progresses with your baby.

There are few negatives, but one with Windoo is weight…. it is heavy and not the easiest carrycot to fit in the car. Additionally, the crash test results are unlikely to be as good as some other car seats/ car carrycots. Overall though, Windoo is a good choice and is a perfect addition to your Loola or Loola Up system.
